Temporary housing is booked last and matters first. A household that lands into a serviced apartment on the right side of the traffic spends its first weeks looking at permanent homes calmly; one that lands into a hotel booked from abroad spends them exhausted, and signs the wrong lease to get out. - The permanent home. The stay covers the search; the search itself is home search, usually run from the temporary address.

Four formats, and where each one exists
No residence is named: partners and availability change with the season and the country.
Serviced apartment
A furnished unit with a kitchen, living and sleeping space kept separate, housekeeping, and the building's pool and gym. The format for a family, or any stay long enough that the household needs to function, in all three countries.
Partner hotel, weekly rate
A room or suite in a partner hotel at a rate set for weeks rather than nights, a kitchenette where the property has one. For dates that may still move, or a single professional at the office more than at home.
Boutique hotel
Smaller properties among our partners, for arrivals who prefer a quieter building to a tower. Same booking, same extension terms, in the Philippines and Vietnam especially.
Private condominium, fixed term
A private flat or house let for a fixed period, more space and fewer services, a landlord rather than a reception. The option families choose in Thailand once school has started and the search runs long.
